Arun Yogiraj’s Creation, the Idol of ‘Ram Lalla’, Is the Chosen Idol for Ayodhya’s Ram Temple
Renowned sculptor Arun Yogiraj, hailing from Karnataka, has been receiving recognition as his crafted idol of 'Ram Lalla' is set to grace Ayodhya's Ram temple. Former Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa disclosed this news, triggering jubilation among Rama devotees in the state. The official announcement from the Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Teertha Kshetra trust is eagerly awaited, heightening the anticipation for this auspicious event. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to inaugurate the Ram temple on January 22, where the chosen idol will be unveiled during the 'nagar yatra' on January 17. Union Minister Pralhad Joshi also confirmed Yogiraj's idol selection. Yogiraj, known for his remarkable sculptures like Adi Shankaracharya's idol at Kedarnath and Subhash Chandra Bose's statue near India Gate, detailed the intricacies of sculpting 'Ram Lalla'.
