Introducing India’s First Hyperloop Transportation System !
Andhra Pradesh’s capital Amravati will introduce ‘the Hyperloop’ transportation system in the city. In collaboration with a US based company, the Andhra Pradesh government has introduced the futuristic project of Hyperloop. A memorandum of understanding (MoU) has been signed between the Andhra Pradesh Economic Development Board (AP-EDB) and the US- based Hyperloop Transportation Technologies (HTT) at Amravati. EDB CEO J Krishna Kishore and HTT chairman and co-founder Bibop Gresta signed the MoU. But still, the exact cost of the project is unknown. The concept of Hyperloop is being backed by the business tycoon Elon Musk. But it has not been implemented anywhere in the world yet. The project will be implemented in a public-private partnership where the funding will come from the private investors. The Hyperloop will be a closed tube modular transport. It runs friction of free. It is said to be implemented between the city centres of Vijayawada and Amaravati first. The distance of 35 minutes will be covered in 5 mins. A feasibility test will be conducted from next month for creating the best route between the cities by examining the surroundings.
