Rohan More First Asian To Swim Across Ocean Seven.
Rohan More, Pune based long-distance swimmer became the first to swim across the Cook Strait between the North and South Islands of New Zealand. He completed the whole swim in eight hours and 37 minutes. Rohan More became the youngest to make this record.At the beginning of the swim, the water was calm with a temperature of 19 degrees. But after progressing towards the South Island, the temperature dropped to 14 degrees. Even after shivering in the cold waters, More kept the spirit alive and finished the swim becoming the ninth person in the world to swim it. Rohan completed his first swim at the age of 11.
