Tiger Gets A Prosthetic Leg

A tiger in Nagpur will get a prosthetic leg by the joint efforts of Maharashtra Animal and Fisheries Science University (MAFSU) and a leading orthopaedic surgeon of Nagpur. This is the first time a tiger will get a prosthetic leg. The tiger has been limping on three legs and with all the pain that followed, the authorities took this step.   A lot of animals have undergone such surgeries across the globe, but this male tiger in the Nagpur’s Gorewada Rescue Centre is the first to undergo such a surgery.
