Get ready for an exciting new travel option! The Railway Board has just approved a biweekly train service connecting Goa with the picturesque Konkan region of Maharashtra. Departing from Bandra Terminus on the Western Railway, this eagerly anticipated train made its debut on August 29. This new service marks a significant shift, as all previous trains from Mumbai to Konkan and Goa have traditionally left from Central Railway stations.The opening of a train from Bandra Terminus to Goa will be of great assistance to tourists from the Western suburbs of Mumbai who are keen to visit the well-liked coastal vacation spot. According to a WR official, in order to run trains from their system that are headed towards Konkan, they will need to switch directions at Vasai Road from north to south in the absence of a cord line. According to the announcement, it will depart from Bandra Terminus every Wednesday and Friday at 6.50 am and arrive in Madgaon at 10 pm.Know About The Stoppages ~ Borivali, Vasai Road, Bhiwandi Road, Panvel, Roha, Veer, Chiplun, Ratnagiri, Kankavli, Sindhudurg, Sawantwadi, Thivim, and Karmali are the 13 stations where the train will stop. Twenty LHB (Linke Hofmann Busch)-style coaches, which are intended to increase passenger efficiency, comfort, and safety, will be used to operate it.
