Know More About The Newly Appointed Chairman Of ISRO
Dr K Sivan is a renowned scientist who has recently been appointed as the new chairman of ISRO. He is currently serving as the director of Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre, will take over the new role on on January 12, 2018. He will succeed Mr. Kiran Kumar as ISRO chief. Dr.K Sivan graduated from the Madras Institute of Technology in aeronautical engineering in 1980 and completed Master of Engineering in Aerospace engineering from IISc, Bangalore two years later. He completed his PhD in Aerospace engineering from IIT, Bombay in the year 2006. The scientist joined ISRO in Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle (PSLV) project in the year1982 and has played major roles in the end to end mission planning, mission integration analysis and mission design.
