World's First 3D-Printed Temple Merges Spirituality and Technology
In an extraordinary venture that combines innovation and spirituality, Telangana is embarking on the construction of the world's first 3D-printed Hindu temple. The ambitious project is a collaboration between Apsuja Infratech, a Hyderabad-based construction company, and Simpliforge Creations, a renowned 3D-printed construction company. Situated within the serene Charvitha Meadows, a gated villa community in Siddipet, the 3D-printed temple will occupy an impressive area of 3800 square feet. This groundbreaking temple structure will utilize cutting-edge 3D printing technology, employing locally developed materials and software. The temple's design encompasses three sanctums or garbhas, each dedicated to a specific deity. The structure will house a modak-shaped sanctum for Lord Ganesha, a square abode known as Shivalay for Lord Shankar, and a lotus-shaped sanctuary for Goddess Parvati. Excitingly, the team is currently working on the lotus-shaped temple for Goddess Parvati, adding another captivating feature to the project. Dhruv Gandhi, the CEO of Simpliforge Creations, expressed his enthusiasm for the project, highlighting the significance of 3D printing in achieving intricate and unconventional designs. He also emphasized the exceptional speed of the printing process, with the team successfully printing a dome-size modak, a challenging task, within just six hours. The announcement of the 3D-printed Hindu temple coincided with Telangana's formation day celebrations. As the state commemorates its rich history and the accomplishments of its people in various fields, this groundbreaking project symbolizes Telangana's dedication to embracing technological advancements while preserving its cultural heritage. The world eagerly awaits the completion of this exceptional temple, as it showcases the limitless possibilities offered by 3D printing technology in the construction industry.
