This Young Entrepreneur Has Overcome All Odds

When Aditi Verma, 22 was born with Down Syndrome, her parents were devastated. However, they decided to give her as normal life as possible. The bright girl excelled in studies and was inclined towards cooking. So after completion of her studies, they gifted her a stall in CBD Belapur, Navi Mumbai.  ‘Aditi’s Corner’ in Bhoomi Mall, CBD Belapur has become an instant hit with customers who are drooling over her chocolates and cupcakes. What started as a small snack corner serving tea, coffee, soup, soft drinks along with sandwiches, Maggi and egg preparations, today also serves home-made lunch. Aditi meticulously takes down lunch orders and is assisted by a good cook and a delivery boy. The business is doing extremely well. Aditi also represented Maharashtra as an entrepreneur in the Self Advocates Forum of India (SAFI) in Bengaluru on December 9, 2016, and has been nominated as the state representative for SAFI. Her life story inspires us to overcome all disabilities and achieve our dreams.
