When you want something, all the universe conspires in helping you achieve it. That’s a famous quote by renowned author Paulo Cohelo and it holds true for Sana Ali who fought all odds to become an ISRO scientist.
Sana Ali, the daughter of a bus driver got appointed as an assistant technical engineer at the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO), proving that financial constraints cannot prevent you from accomplishing your goals.
Sana, who is from the Vidisha district of Madhya Pradesh completed her B.Tech and M.Tech from Vidisha’s Samrat Ashok Technical Institute (SATI). She
has been chosen for the Satish Dhawan Space Center ISRO, which is situated in Sriharikota, Andhra Pradesh's Tirupati district.
The path to success was strewn by thorns as the family faced financial constraints. In order to help Sana continue her studies, her mother mortgaged her jewelry and her father, Sayed Sajid Ali, had to take loans. If that was not enough, their relatives dissuaded them from educating her further and advised them to marry her off.
Sana who hails from a middle-class family encourages all women to complete their education at all costs. She advises them to keep all failures aside and work hard to achieve the goals set in their life.
Sana Ali wed Gwalior-based engineer Akram in 2022. Her spouse and her in-laws helped her out. Sana claims that her parents and in-laws have helped her with both her career and her academics.
