Around fifty impoverished couples were married in a "Samuh Vivah," or mass wedding, at the Reliance Corporate Park in Navi Mumbai by the Ambani family. This occurs just a few days before Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant's highly anticipated extravagant Mumbai wedding on July 12. Approximately 800 individuals attended the mass marriages on Tuesday, including the family and friends of the marrying couples. Joining Nita and Mukesh Ambani to wish the newlyweds luck on their road ahead were Akash Ambani, Shloka Mehta, Isha Ambani, and Anand Piramal.

"Manav seva hi Madhav seva"—service to humanity is service to God—was the Ambani family mantra shown at the ceremony. In an expression of affection and goodwill, the brides received gold and silver decorations, such as "mangalsutras," wedding bands, nose rings, anklets, and other items, along with other necessary daily necessities. As a symbol of her "streedhan," or individual riches, each bride also received a cheque for Rs. 1 lakh.

Gold Was Gifted to Each Of Them ~ 

Every couple in attendance reportedly received enormous wedding presents, including nose rings, wedding bands, precious mangal sutras, and gold trinkets, according to an India Today article! Anklets and nose rings made of silver were among the jewelry given out. Every bride received a "Stridhan" gift of Rs 1 lakh.

A year's worth of groceries and household supplies, comprising 36 necessary goods and utensils, along with gadgets like a gas stove, mixer, fan, mattress, and pillows, were given to the couples. A lavish meal was planned, and visitors were welcomed to take in the Warli Tribe's traditional Tarpa dance, which added cultural value to the event. Following the tenet "manav seva hi madhav seva" (service to humanity is service to God), the Ambani family upholds a custom of commencing each significant family occasion with altruism and community service, so showcasing their dedication to the community.

Nita Ambani expressed her happiness at meeting the newlyweds and that she saw the event as the start of Anant Radhika's marriage. "I bless every one of these couples. With today's large-scale wedding, Anant and Radhika's "Shubh-lagna" rituals officially begin, she declared. On July 12, Anant and Radhika will tie the knot at Mumbai's Jio World Convention Centre. "Shubh Vivaah" on July 12, "Shubh Aashirwad" on July 13, and "Mangal Utsav" (the wedding reception) on July 14 are the three days of the celebration. The extravagant wedding has already begun with the pre-wedding extravaganzas featuring well-known worldwide performers like Akon and Rihanna in Jamnagar and Pitbull, Andrea Bocelli, and the Backstreet Boys on an opulent cruise. Negotiations are in progress to arrange the appearances of renowned singers Adele, Drake, and Lana Del Rey at the Mumbai wedding, according to insiders.
