Samasta Patidar Arogya Trust's Kiran Multi Super Specialty Hospital and Research Centre will be inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Surat on April 17. This hospital will have a bacteria free atmosphere.
Hepa filters will be installed through which laminar flow of the centrally air-conditioning system will pass and reach the operation theatres (OT) on the fourth floor of the hospital. There would be micron and hepa filters on other floors too. There will be 28 operation theatres in this mega speciality hospital.
The hospital is built at a cost of Rs 500 crore and an additional Rs 31 crore has been spent to make it free of micro organisms. The top of the building will have a helipad and this is the first hospital in Gujarat which will have air ambulance services.
Dr. Snehal Dungrani, administrator of Kiran Multi Super Speciality Hospital and Research Centre said that the hospital will have all specialties under one roof including advanced medical equipment bought from abroad.
Mathur Savani, the managing director of the hospitals said that the hospital will be run on a no profit no loss basis. He said that since it is equipped with advanced medical equipment, it will provide the best medical treatment found anywhere in the world.
