Abhishek Prasad Gupta is a 22-year-old Sikkim resident who embarked on a solo marathon in December to spread awareness about Swacch Bharat campaign, ‘Organic Sikkim’ and issues like fighting child abuse that are close to his heart. He has reached Ghaziabad and is only 30km away from his destination- Sikkim Bhavan in Delhi.
Sikkim governor Shriniwas Patil flagged off his journey. Gupta daily runs at a slow pace for around 70-80km. He is being accompanied by his father Shankar Prasad and a medical team that has been following them in a SUV.
