This artist was able to enter her name in Limca Book of Record by achieving her target of putting Mehndi on maximum hands.
Sufia Reshamwala from Gujarat achieved the goal by putting mend on 451 hands within 16 hours. Now, she aims to break the same record and enter India World Records and her final aim is Guinness Book of World Record.
Talking about her art she said, “For last eight years, I've been practicing bridal Mehndi. I always wanted to earn reputation in the field. I wanted to set a record so that people could remember me. Today, with the support of my family, I've been able to register my name in Limca Book of Record. I am heartily thankful to all.”
She thought that she might take 24 hours for completing 421 hands but surprisingly she completed it early. Sufia started her MEhndi task at 9 am on May 22 and completed the task in 15 hours and 25 minutes to be precise.
She is not the only one, before this Dhaneshri Hendre from Pune had recorded putting mend o 408 hands in 32 hours. Sufia broke this record and is now aiming to break more such records. Passionate for Mehndi, Sufia has surely proved that one can do well in any possible fields.
