Little Vishalini, all seven years, is the youngest patent holder in India. She was recently felicitated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi for her breakthrough invention that would save lives during floods. She invented the ‘Automatic multifunctional life rescue flood house’ that can help prevent drowning during floods.
Young Vishalini noticed that an inflatable pool can float and protect against drowning and she made a safe floating house based on the idea. She was watching reports about flooding on television and wondered why not make a house that floats during floods. She brilliantly conceived this plan of making an automatic multifunctional life rescue flood house for which she won a lot of accolades.
Lifebuoy has teamed with Vishalini to promote the basics of hand hygiene from a child's earliest years and has appointed her an H for Handwashing CEO. The H for Handwashing CEOs will be prepared to disseminate the message of the significance of hand hygiene utilizing Lifebuoy's ten years of behavior change material, including hand washing games, posters, comic books, a film explaining the steps, and a hygiene kit.
For her excellence in the field of innovation, Vishalini has been awarded the Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar, 2022. Kudos to this little child wonder!
