In a meeting held on Wednesday, both North and South Korea have decided to form a combined women’s ice hockey team to take part in next month’s Winter Olympics which will be held in PyeongChang in South Korea.
According to a joint statement released by Seoul’s unification ministry, the two Koreas also agreed to march together under a unified peninsula flag at the opening ceremony.
North Korea will send a 550-member delegation of about 550, including 230 cheerleaders, 140 artists and 30 Taekwondo players which is scheduled to arrive in South Korea on Jan. 25.
