Surat and Mumbai will soon be connected by sea as the Gujarat government has given permission to operate cruise services between Surat and Mumbai. Passengers can enjoy a memorable experience in a state of art jetty that will cruise between Surat and Mumbai.
The Leisure Cruise Vessel
Passengers can have a wonderful time on board as they can party, have fun and be treated to luxurious travel. The vessel is capable of accommodating 250 passengers on its three decks. To ensure better maneuverability, the twin crew vessel is fitted with a bow thruster. It is designed in such a way that passengers can have a comfortable stay in the lounge and cabins.
Frequency
The vessel will set sail from Surat’s Hazaria and arrive at the Bandra Worli sea link. It will depart from Bandra Worli sea link on Thursday evening at 5 pm and will reach Hazira the next day morning at 9 am. The same will then depart from Hazira in the evening at 5 pm and arrive at Bandra Worli sea link at 9 am on Saturday. The number of trips will be increased as per the demand of passengers. The cruise will be inaugurated on November 10 and its services will commence on November 15th.
Chief Nautical Officer of Gujarat Maritime Board Captain A B Solanki said that the launching of Surat Mumbai cruise services will open up new avenues in coastal tourism.
