Union Minister Shri Nitin Gadkari graced the launch event yesterday at Ravi Bhavan, where he clicked a button to begin the service. This is a significant step toward increasing accessibility for metro travel. Union Minister Shri Nitin Gadkari was cordially welcomed to the function by MahaMetro Managing Director Shri Shravan Hardikar. It is anticipated that the WhatsApp ticketing service will expedite the ticket purchasing procedure, providing commuters with an easy-to-use and effective way to acquire their metro tickets. Travelers can now conveniently purchase metro tickets using WhatsApp, doing away with the need to wait in line or use different ticketing apps, thanks to this new service. This initiative, initially launched in Nagpur, is part of MahaMetro's ongoing efforts to enhance commuter experience in the city and promote the use of public transit, with plans for gradual introduction in other cities.
