Bodupally Anusha who was rescued from a child marriage in Telangana won accolades in various sports event one of which is U-19 interschool Cricket league.
B Anusha added another feather to her cap by excelling in Rugby and will also be seen taking part in Under-19 Rugby Championship, which is said to take place in the city soon
The child marriage was being conducted by her parents and was rescued by the joint efforts of Rachakonda police and Balala Hakkula Sangam.
After which she continued her schooling in the Welfare School. Seeing her dedication and passion towards sports, the Police Commissioner of Rachakonda police station gave an assurance saying he will provide financial help till she completes her education.
