For all this while we knew that paying for parking tickets was annoying but, it might not be the same anymore for a lot of people in Las Vegas. You can now donate school stationery items instead of paying money the next time you do wrong parking in the city.
The school supplies received by the city will be given to Teachers Exchange which has an association with the Public Education Foundation.
The Las Vegas city council rolled out a news release which stated that they unanimously voted in favour of a month-long plan of allowing parking tickets to be paid with school supplies.
The parking violators can get stationeries worth their parking ticket or may be greater than that within 30 days of their citation date. Supplies such as copy paper, pencil, card stock, pens, erasers, index card and so on can be donated.
Every city must take this unique decision of the city council as an example. This is not only benefitting a lot of children but, also not making parking tickets frustrating.
