Anand Kumar, noted mathematician and Super 30 founder was awarded the prestigious Education Excellence Award in the US for his commendable efforts to mentor needy students for IIT-JEE. The award was presented to him by the Foundation For Excellence (FFE) at a function to celebrate the organization’s 25th anniversary gala in San Jose, California.
Selfless Efforts For Needy Students
Anand Kumar founded the highly impactful Super 30 around 18 years ago to guide and coach the less privileged, but bright students for India’s premier IIT-JEE. He taught them free of cost and provided them with year-long residential coaching. His coaching gained popularity due to the phenomenal success rate of its students who witnessed a generational change after entering the premiere institutions.
Inspiring Message
Speaking at the function, Anand Kumar stressed the importance of making good quality education accessible to the masses as it will be effective in countering problems like poverty, unemployment, population explosion, environmental degradation and a lot more important issues. He urged the Indian diaspora to help education become the strongest weapon to fight all the problems of the world.
The innovative teacher further said that an educated world would give rise to a better place as education leads to greater understanding and compassion. His huge success and immense contribution to the society was the inspiration behind the making and success of his biopic starring Hrithik Roshan.
