With examination season around the corner, no doubt students are usually stressed with the studies and results but even teachers and professors in the colleges are equally stressed when it comes to examination. With paper settings, evaluation, supervising the examination classrooms, the teachers' work is almost doubled up during this season. To de-stress the teachers and professors from this pressure of examination many colleges in the city have organized some stress-bursting sessions that helps them to keep cool during the busy schedule.
Take the case of Guru Nanak College. As per the report published in The Times of India, the college has organized special laughter sessions for teachers. The teaching faculty at this college takes a short break from the constant examination work and attends laughter yoga session. It helps teacher to get rid of the stress.
Earlier the college has also organized special session on stress management, time management, and how to achieve goals. Every college has an Internal Quality Assurance Cell which sure that teacher are relieved and keep their mind cool during stress period.
While in KC College, Mumbai the colleges organizes special yoga session for teachers as a part of the faculty development program. Similarly, many colleges have recreational activities inside their campus like gym, swimming pool, indoor and outdoor games that keep the teachers also fresh. Teachers can surely take some time out and rejuvenate themselves to face the pressure period of examinations.
