Suchetha Satheesh, a 17-year-old musical sensation from Kerala, continues to break barriers and reach new heights with her extraordinary talent.
Having the unique ability to sing in multiple languages, Suchetha shot to fame with two record-breaking achievements. In August 2021, she captivated audiences by performing an astonishing 120 songs in different languages during a concert, earning her a place in the Guinness Book of World Records.
It was during this concert that Azha Lhab Tshering, a renowned music composer from Bhutan, took notice of her talent, leading to their collaboration on the Bhutanese song"Gaw Mey Gaw Mey." Suchetha collaborated with popular Bhutanese singer Tshering Dorji to lend her melodious voice to this enchanting song.The song was released at the Indian Embassy in Thimphu, Bhutan, receiving accolades from deputy ambassador Niteen Subhash Yeola on May 15.
This is not the first time Suchetha has ventured into Bhutanese music. In July 2022, she collaborated with the same composer and singer for the song "Toh Dha Tsoem."
Even before her Guinness performance, Suchetha had already set a world record as a 12-year-old in Dubai, where she delivered a captivating 6-hour and 15-minute live concert, showcasing her singing prowess in an astounding 102 languages.
Recognizing her remarkable gift at an early age, Suchetha'sparents, Dr. Satheesh and Sumitha Ayilliath enrolled her in music classes when she was just three years old. She also received training in Hindustani music and is currently learning from the legendary composer Jerry Amaldev, further nurturing her exceptional talent.
Suchetha's accomplishments continue to astound and inspire, cementing her status as a true musical prodigy with the ability to transcend language barriers through the power of her voice.
