The person behind the venture who made it possible is Siddharth Shah, the founder of PharmEasy.
Shah is an IIM Ahmedabad alumni, and has several years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry. He was inspired to start PharmEasy after witnessing the struggles of his own family members in obtaining the necessary medical supplies, and recognizing the need for an easier and more efficient solution.
Under Shah's leadership, PharmEasy has expanded rapidly, partnering with over 30,000 pharmacies across India to provide customers with a wide range of products and services, including home delivery of medicines and lab tests. The company has also launched several initiatives to improve the healthcare system in India, including a teleconsultation service and a medicine subscription program.
Shah is known for his commitment to providing high-quality healthcare to all, and has received numerous accolades for his work. He has been recognized as a "Young Leader in Healthcare" by the Economic Times, and PharmEasy has been named one of the "Top 50 Startups in India" by Inc. magazine.
