Manabi Bandhopadhyay, professor and the first transgender principal who has completed her Doctor of Philosophy.
After a life full of trouble and trauma she faced as a transgender, Bandhopadhyay wanted to do something creative. After a feminist in Kolkata, Maya Siddhanta sympathising with her, Bandhopadhyay realised she was yearning to do something creative and unique.
Bandhopadhyay started her college and soon started writing articles for various newspapers. After which she started gaining some popularity and soon she was being appreciated by people.
From being a complete outcast to now being recognized for her work, Bandhopadhyay had walked many miles and had gained confidence.
After which she also became the first transgender principal in a school. Bandhopadhyay from coming out of a tragic life to becoming what she once dreamt off has surely proved her worth.
