All of us know that electrical bicycles are environment-friendly, therefore opting for one would be a great choice. The market has been gaining a lot of popularity in India and to be a part of it, Kochi’s Smado Labs Pvt Ltd has come up with its own e-bike.
The electric bicycle launched by the startup is foldable which makes it portable. It comes in two variants, Alpha-1 and Alpha-1pro. The e-bike has a 48v, 250W motor which is backed by a Panasonic 48V10AH lithium-ion battery as reported by TOI.
While talking to the portal about the variants, the co-founder and CEO of Smado Labs Pvt Ltd, Midhun Sankar said: “We currently have two variants - Alpha-1 with a range of 50km and Alpha-1pro that can do 100km for two hours of charging. We have a launch offer of Rs 49,500 and Rs 69,500 for them.”
Midhun launched the startup in 2016 along with Jishnu P and Ashin A and by launching the e-bike they have introduced the first electrical bicycle of Kochi.
Any vehicle that runs on the battery is highly beneficial for our environment. And choosing to ride them is certainly a smart move to make.
