The government of Denmark has a very ambitious goal to cover 50 percent of the country’s energy needs by renewable energy, such as wind and solar power by 2030. For the past ten years, Denmark is making records in wind power generation. In 2017, Danish land and sea wind turbines produced the equivalent of 43.4 percent of total Danish electricity consumption.
Short distances and a collaborative attitude have made it easy for the wind power industry to achieve good results. The higher records will continue to be achieved as new offshore wind farms are developed.
