Anyone who has spent days and nights in a hospital is aware of how tedious it can get. The environment in a hospital is saddening, it can be depressive and monotonous for anyone, especially children. Thus, keeping that in mind, Kevin Gatlin from Charlotte, North Carolina introduced Playtime Adventures through which he comes up with bedsheets designed for kids’ hospital beds. And these bedsheets are not only colourful but, also features geographical facts, numerical, several interactive games, science, grammar and so on.Ke

Kevin was disheartened to see his friend’s child lying on a hospital bed once as he was only confined to his bed and the four white walls of the room. The situation reminded him of his son and he thought to himself what the condition could have been if the kid was his own child. And it was then when the idea of creating Playtime bedsheets struck him. Therefore, he joined hands with parents and teachers to develop the thought.

People can buy these bedsheets online and donate to the hospitals. Kevin says that until now he knows of ten hospitals who have used his bedsheets and he wishes the number to increase at an extensive rate.

Kevin’s initiative is nothing short of a class apart. We hope he brings smiles to several other tiny faces.
