As climate change continues to affect lives, Australia recorded highest temperatures since 1939 and Sahara desert got covered with layers of snow, a third time in 40 years. The desert looked gorgeous with layers of snow intermittently strewn over the orange desert.
The BBC reported that the desert was covered in 16 inches of snow. The residents in the town of Ain Sefra awoke on Sunday morning to see that it has snowed. Though it was an unusual sight, people all over the world are amazed by the incredible pictures of the Sahara.
