Mumbai’s Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport and Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGIA) ranked one of the best airports in the world by Airports Council International (ACI).
On Tuesday, the ACI held the awards of annual airport service quality (ASQ) where Mumbai and Delhi airports become the top winners for annually handling over 40 million passengers in the year 2017.
The other best airports in the world like Changi (Singapore), Incheon and Bangkok airports were also there in the same category.
IGIA was on the second position last year and on the first position in 2015 under a smaller 25-40 million annual passengers' category. It is also the sixth busiest airport in Asia. Whereas Mumbai was awarded for the first time.
