Ever wondered how planets and moons look like up close. Thanks to Google Maps, now you can explore planets without worrying about pesky clouds or formatting a telescope.

The new feature introduced by Google Maps enables one to  'zoom out' from Earth and explore other planets and moons in the solar system. You can also probe the International Space Station without leaving the comfort of your phone or computer.

Google Maps added 12 new planets and moons for users to explore. You can also seek the moons of Saturn, like Enceladus, Titan, and Mimas.

To get to space, you can scroll out on the Google Maps screen or use the direct link. According to Google’s blog, images are sent by various spacecraft, including the Cassini probe. Cassini allowed “scientists to reconstruct these distant worlds in unprecedented detail.” Users can zoom closer to the planets and view all images in 3D.

Stafford Marquardt, the Product Manager at Google, wrote in a blog post-"Explore the icy plains of Enceladus, where Cassini discovered water beneath the moon's crust-suggesting signs of life. Peer beneath the thick clouds of Titan to see methane lakes,"

Google has also added Pluto, Venus, and several other moons for a total of 12 new worlds for users to explore.
