When 16-year-old Ashley embarked on a solo flight journey, she hadn’t imagined that her nervousness would turn into joy, thanks to the kindness shown by a flight attendant of Delta Airlines.
Ashley was afraid that due to her hearing disability, she would miss important instructions about her flight from Baltimore to JFK International Airport in NewYork. To make matters worse, she had to catch a connecting flight to Rochester from the JFK airport which is one of the busiest airports in the world.
To her surprise, Ashley had a safe and successful flight thanks to a caring flight attendant. As soon as the flight took off from Baltimore, the Delta attendant handed a handwritten note to the teen. The note contained information regarding safety as well as other details that Ashley would want to know about the flight. Through the note she came to know which overhead button she should press so that she could call the flight attendant in case she needs any help.
The handwritten note by the flight attendant rested all doubts of the teen and she was at ease. Ashley was overwhelmed by this act of kindness and she has decided to treasure that note which meant the world to her.
