Chandigarh held its first fashion show for the deaf on Saturday. The competition was organised by Deafeasy at Deaf and Dumb School, Lions Club, Sector 18, Chandigarh.This fashion event was one of its kind and had 27 contestants.
The event was divided into two slots, married and unmarried. Over 150 people attend the event. Just like any other fashion show, this event also had three rounds.The first round was a ramp walk followed by traditional round and a question-answer round based on intelligence.
Winning the round of single entries were Ankush and Jyoti who won became Mr Deaf & Ms Deaf 2018.Eish won the title in the married category and was titled Mr Deaf while Seema was titled Mrs Deaf 2018.
Three cheers for Chandigarh for working towards enhancing lives of the physically challenged and providing them a platform to showcase their talents.
