The people of Haryana are going to be hugely benefited by a new mobile application which was launched on Monday by the Haryana chief minister, Manohar Lal Khattar. The app that was launched in Ambala informs people of the numerous welfare schemes and programmes of the government. Initially, the e-Sewa app will give out information about more than 250 schemes and programmes of 30 different departments.
The chief minister congratulated Ambala deputy commissioner (DC) Prabhjot Singh and his entire team for developing the app and said it will be of great help to the people. Prabhjot Singh informed the CM that they are planning to add schemes and programmes of other departments of the state government.
The app also provides information about the documents required, requisite fee and how to apply for schemes, so that people can avail the welfare schemes. They will saved the hassle of making the rounds of government offices.
People can check the status of their complaint on the chief minister's window through this mobile app. The DC said that contact numbers, including that of all DCs, additional deputy commissioners, sub-divisional magistrates, have been made available on the app.
