Reducing Carbon Footprint
Currently, battery-operated bicycle-sharing services that are eco-friendly and cost-effective are operational at 7 metro stations and 19 stations have the facility of pedal bicycle-sharing services. The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has also tied up with bike-sharing app Yulu for last-mile connectivity. The introduction of e-scooter services will also give a further boost to the efforts to offer eco-friendly first and last-mile connectivity to commuters.
