The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) students have to attend the Independence Day and Republic Day functions to get their grades.
According to the new rule by CBSE board, students from class 6 to 9 have to attend the I-Day and Republic day celebrations in the school in order to receive their grades.
Apart from the regular studies and its assessment, new uniform assessment pattern requires students to assess students on their attitude, behaviour, and sincerity. Therefore they also need to show responsibility toward the nation and it is important to inculcate the feeling of patriotism. Taking all these things into consideration, the decision has been taken to make sure students do not miss these national festivals. Also students attitude with their friends and with teachers will also be taken into consideration.
Now, there will also be a two-semester system with half yearly and annual examination.
Apart from this there will be periodic test of 10 marks each twice a year. For 9 and 10 grades the students will be tested on the full book.
