Technology is changing every day and the innovations have never failed to surprise us. Pragma Industries a French start-up is the first company that has started the production of hydrogen-powered bicycles for use in various corporates.
Priced at 7500 euros per bike, this bike runs for 100km (62 miles) on a two-litre tank of hydrogen. The alpha bike unlike other electric bikes which take hours to charge takes only a few minutes to refill.
Founder and CEO Pierre Forte tells us about their future plans which include, cutting down the price to 5000 euros for consumers. Currently, Pragma Industries sold 60 alpha bikes to French municipalities.
Talking about the uniqueness, Forte said we are the first to move to a series production. He also spoke about entering the consumer market in the next two-three years and increasing their scale of operations.
