Scientists have come up with a miracle superglue which can heal a serious wound in just seconds.
The gel can not only help save people involved in fatal accidents but, can also stop the bleeding for patients during heart surgery. The glue seals the open tissue in just 20 seconds right after getting activated with UV light. It restrains the blood from flowing out.
Nature Communications have explained about the superglue in detail. The report stated that the gel successfully stopped high-pressure bleeding from pig blood vessels which had an incision of 4 to 5 mm. It also sealed a hole which was 6 mm wide in the pig heart.
The superglue might be available for humans within three to five years.
