The Durga Project which showcases the power, energy, devotion and strength of goddess Durga.
The Durga Project was started in New York by the Battery Dance Academy.
Kalavardhini Charitable Trust brought the Durga Project to Pune for the music and dance lovers. The group presented a mix of American contemporary dance based on Indian mythology.
The event took place at the Yashwantrao Chavan Natyagruha. Jonathan Hollander, President of Battery Dance Academy was attracted towards the Indian classical dance forms at an early age.
Durga, the new dance drama portrayed the combination of American contemporary dance and Indian classical music.
