Named Dantewada Advanced Network of Transport Empowered SHG, This initiative is supporting 200 self help groups. They are working towards providing affordable public transport facilities in the interiors of the worst Naxal regions of the country.
Currently 51 women have begun driving eco friendly rickshaws from the tribal communities of the area. This is the first initiative that took place in the district and is working towards providing employment to the women.
The Eco friendly rickshaws will also help pregnant women if the ambulance does not reach on time. The programme will also involve cutting down distance between villages by allowing quick movement between villagers.
