Rajasthan's Gauravi Singhvi sets a new record by swimming for 9 hours 22 minutes continuously and covering a distance of 48 kms.
Gauravi started swimming at 3.30am from Khardanda in Juhu beach and set a record by reaching the Gateway of India at 1pm.
According to her coach, Gauravi has been practising for 8-10 hours daily. Even though she was bitten by prawns and fish in high seas but nothing stopped the young girl to achieve her dreams.
Becoming the youngest in the state, Gauravi also has a record of swimming 36kms in the Arabian Sea.
